Free to run.
Source closed.
WeftKit ships as free Docker images that you can pull, run, and ship to production at no cost. We do not distribute the source code in any form.
Free to Use
You can pull any WeftKit Docker image and run it in production, on premise, in your cloud, or on a customer's hardware. No license key. No seat count. No runtime phone-home.
Binaries Only
The compiled binaries inside each image are all that WeftKit distributes. The source code stays with CyberZero. There is no public source repository and no source bundle available on request.
No "Open Source" Claims
WeftKit is not an open-source project. It is a commercial product that happens to be free to pull and run. Treat any third-party claim that WeftKit is open source as incorrect.
Commercial Support Available
The free Docker images receive regular updates and security fixes. Customers who need SLAs, priority response, or custom builds can engage CyberZero directly for commercial support.
Binary Use License (Summary)
The text below summarises the terms that apply when you pull and run a WeftKit Docker image. For the complete legal text, contact legal@weftkit.dev.
1. Grant of Use
CyberZero grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to pull, run, copy, and distribute unmodified copies of the official WeftKit Docker images (the “Images”) for internal business use, production workloads, and commercial services that you operate. You may charge your own customers for services that are powered by WeftKit.
2. No Source Distribution
CyberZero does not distribute the WeftKit source code. Pulling an Image does not grant you any rights to the source. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source from the Images, except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. No Modification Redistribution
You may not distribute modified copies of the Images under the weftkit/ name or any name that implies affiliation with CyberZero. You are free to layer your own configuration, data, and application on top of the Images in private or customer-facing deployments.
4. Not Open Source
WeftKit is a commercial product distributed without charge. It is not governed by any open-source license (MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, MPL, GPL, AGPL, or otherwise). Representations that WeftKit is “open source” are incorrect.
5. Trademarks
“WeftKit”, “CyberZero”, and associated logos are trademarks of CyberZero. The Grant of Use above does not include any trademark license. You may refer to WeftKit factually (“Powered by WeftKit”) but may not use the marks to brand your own products.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
The Images are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. CyberZero is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Images.
7. Updates & Changes
New versions of the Images ship under a new tag. CyberZero may change these terms for future versions at any time; the terms under which a specific version was pulled continue to apply to that version.
Frequently Asked
Can I use WeftKit in a commercial SaaS product?
Yes. You can run WeftKit images behind any service you operate and charge your customers for that service.
Do I need a license key?
No. There is no license key, no runtime activation, and no phone-home. The binaries run offline.
Will the source ever be released?
CyberZero has no plans to distribute the source. If that ever changes, we will announce it on this page.
Can I repackage WeftKit under a different name?
No. You may not redistribute modified copies of the images. You may build your own image that depends on an unmodified WeftKit image via FROM, provided you do not imply affiliation with CyberZero.
What about air-gapped environments?
Fully supported. Pull each image once, store it in your internal registry, and deploy offline. The binaries do not require internet access to run.
Is there a paid tier?
The Docker images are free. Paid services — SLA-backed support, private builds, advisory — are available directly from CyberZero. Contact us to discuss.
